"KICKIN IT OLD SCHOOL"

This past weekend was a life changing one to say the least. I had the privilege to travel all the way to Union Point, GA and preach to a group of teenagers and young adults. When I tell you all that this place was way back in the woods, that would be an understatement. The squirrels looked as though they were on steroids and hopping out of a Terminator movie, getting ready for Judgement Day. The church that event was held, was the most beautiful thing, other than my wife of course, that I have seen. Huge ceilings, Stain Glass windows, and a sound system that was struggling. There was just something about being in this legacy of a church way out in the middle of nowhere, that I found peace. I always enjoy going to places like this because it reminds me of where I came from. I believe God places these moments in our lives for that very reason. When you see how far you've come, you can see how far left you have to go. The trip really helped me and Danielle turn a new leaf and gain a new confidence about this new season of traveling and preaching. I don't know what stage of the Journey you are at today, but just know that how far you've come is a testament to God's grace in your life. Because I know there were times the enemy tried to take you out and knock you down, BUT you got UP AGAIN! Yes you may have a little limp in your walk but at least you are still standing. So take a moment and thank God for his goodness and faithfulness. This helps me realize that "Kickin It OldSkool" really isn't so bad after all.

Prayer:

God no matter what season we are experiencing at this moment, we acknowledge that you are with us. We thank you for the times that we felt like we weren't going to make it, because it has helped us lean and press into You even more. Though you never promised it was going to be easy, you have held onto your promise of "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matt. 28:20. Thank you Jesus! We are expectant of the future because we know, that you reside there as well. Amen
